First two of the nine journal quilts

Here’s the first two of the journal quilts I showed you in my last post on quilts from the past. Each quilt, left to right, has a number on it, usually in felt, with embellishments. Number one is gold, number two is violet. Don’t forget to click on the images to see more detail. BTW, for those who may not be familiar with journal quilts, it’s a page size quilt. More about how they got started in another post.
